The application of PE (polyethylene) wax in rubber
The main functions of PE (polyethylene) wax in rubber are: extinction, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, polishing resistance, engraving resistance, adhesion resistance, sedimentation resistance, thixotropy, good lubricity and processability, and metal pigment property. Protect rubber from electrostatic ozone and improve the dispersion of carbon black in rubber. The use of PE wax in rubber is a kind of chemical material. The color of PE wax is small white beads / flakes, which is formed by polymerized rubber processing agent. It has the characteristics of high melting point, high hardness, high gloss and snow white color.
The purpose of PE wax in rubber is the low molecular weight polyhomopolymer or copolymer widely used in coatings. The so-called wax means that the polymer is finally floating in the form of microcrystalline wax in the surface coating, playing a role of wax like wax in appearance but with more different properties than paraffin.
