What should be paid attention to in the extrusion of chlorinated PVC pipe
Compared with PVC pipe extrusion, the extrusion of chlorinated PVC pipe is relatively difficult. Therefore, the following problems should be paid attention to during extrusion:
1. The selection of stabilizer and other processing aids should be paid attention to in the formulation of raw materials for forming pipes, mainly to improve the melt fluidity and thermal stability of raw materials. If necessary, the formula can be mixed well, and small samples can be taken for test. If there is no obvious discoloration decomposition phenomenon in the oven at 230 ℃ for 2 hours, then the selection of auxiliary materials is more reasonable.
2. The extrusion temperature of PVC pipe is slightly higher than that of PVC pipe. However, it should be noted that the temperature control fluctuation should not exceed ± 5 ℃.
3. In the production process of chlorinated PVC pipe, if there is power failure, equipment failure, evidence of possible decomposition of molten materials or smoke from the die mouth, it is necessary to immediately stop feeding to the barrel, use PVC resin to remove CPVC molten materials from the barrel and the die, and then stop the machine to remove the fault.
4. Before putting into production, the chlorinated PVC resin must be dried for 2-4 hours in an oven at 80 ℃. If necessary, the raw materials after high-speed mixing shall be screened once with a 40 mesh screen, and then put into the hopper of the extruder for production.
5. HCl gas released during the decomposition of CPVC melting material is harmful to human body, so attention shall be paid to the ventilation of the production workshop.
6. Anti corrosion treatment shall be carried out on the flow surface of the extruder barrel, screw and the melt in the forming die used for the production of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin, so as to extend the service life of the equipment parts
