Up to now, the rural doctor guarantee project, the rural doctor capacity improvement project, and the seriously ill patient rescue project have achieved phased results in the local area. A total of nearly 780000 yuan of materials, funds, manpower and other resources have been invested in the project.

At the forum, Liu Li, deputy county head of the county government, thanked the targeted measures and achievements taken by the rural doctor project since it was launched. He also fed back that there were still problems in primary medical care, such as the informatization and intelligence level of health centers to be improved, and the talent reserve was broken. Guo Shuai, Assistant Secretary General of Fosun foundation, also said that he would continue to carry out the "five ones" project of the rural doctor project, and strive for the implementation of the internal and external resources of the project.

According to the 2022 statistical bulletin on the development of China's health undertakings issued by the National Health Commission, by the end of 2021, there were 599000 village clinics in 490000 administrative villages across the country, with 1.363 million people in the village clinics.

Rural doctors bear most of the medical care responsibilities and public health service responsibilities in rural areas. They are an important part of China's medical and health team, and also an important force to prevent poverty due to illness and return to poverty due to illness. During the inspection, Wang Xiaochuan and his party investigated the health center of Dahe Town and the health room of Shaba village in Daozhen Autonomous County on the spot, fully communicated with Xia Jidong, President of the primary health center, and Huang Yong, a rural doctor, to find out the practical difficulties of the primary public health work, and visited the poor households caused by serious diseases to send nutrition and condolence money, so as to explore the value and potential of health assistance in helping rural revitalization.

As a major feature of the hospital, TCM discipline construction serves more than 20000 people in four surrounding villages. The rural doctor project was officially launched at the end of 2017. At present, it has covered 73 counties in 16 provinces, cities and autonomous regions (including 25 national key assistance counties for Rural Revitalization), helped about 24000 village medical workers, and benefited more than 3 million grassroots families.

Wang Xiaochuan said that we are doing our best to help the rural doctor group and promote the improvement of the rural medical system.
