Advantages of CPE application in cable
As far as low-voltage wires and cables are concerned, they are mainly divided into two categories: building wires and electrical equipment wires. Among the building wires, as early as the 1960s, natural rubber insulated braided asphalt coated wires were used. Since the 1970s, it has been completely replaced by PVC plastic wire. The situation in electrical equipment lines is similar to that in construction lines. In the early days, it was natural rubber, but after the 1970s, PVC cables largely replaced it. This situation is unscientific and unreasonable for cable industry and user selection. Nowadays, all kinds of wires for electrical equipment, especially the connecting cables required by the booming household appliances, should be replaced by rubber cables instead of PVC plastics. Because rubber cable is soft, feels good, is not afraid of hot, does not contain melting and other advantages that plastic cable can not compare. CPE has many advantages that synthetic rubber does not have. Therefore, CPE can be widely used to manufacture household electrical cords and other flexible cables for electrical equipment.
To sum up, the application of CPE in the cable industry, that is, replacing CR with CPE, is a general trend in the cable industry. This not only can alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of CR, significantly reduce the cost of cable products, improve the economic efficiency of the cable industry, but also has far-reaching significance for improving the grade of cable products and realizing the diversification of cable varieties.
